It also addresses the tasks, responsibilities, and expectations of the student and the preceptor for Nursing 419, Community Health Nursing Practicum.
Objectives:
- Understand key aspects of the undergraduate education program of the UW-Madison School of Nursing
- Understand the expectations of the UW-Madison School of Nursing for the community health clinical course
- Describe the importance of orientation to the agency for the undergraduate student
- Compare the outcomes of the pre-conference meeting to the post- conference meeting
- Describe the process of journaling
- Understand the desired outcomes for student projects
