Purpose:
Public health nursing is grounded in public health and nursing science. The Wisconsin Public Health Nursing Practice Model is a graphic representation of the core concepts that provide the foundation for practice as a public health nurse in Wisconsin. The purpose of this course is to introduce learners to the Wisconsin Public Health Nursing Practice Model as the organizing framework for learning population-focused public health nursing.
