Purpose: Nursing students come to the community health clinical with a variety of personal and professional experiences and learning styles. This module will provide information about learning styles that may help you in deciding what teaching strategies to use as a preceptor.

Objectives:
  1. Describe teaching strategies appropriate in the community health setting
  2. Match teaching strategies to student learning styles


Computer Requirements:
  • Operating system and web browser:
    • Windows XP or 2000 with Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox 1.x, or higher
      OR
    • Macintosh OS 10.3.x with Safari 1.x or Firefox 1.x, or higher
