Join the thousands of nurses who have called upon UW-Madison's School of Nursing to meet their continuing education needs. With more than 50 years of service, we take pride in keeping nurses in all practice areas informed, up-to-date, and competitive across the nation.

How to Sign-up for an Online CE Course
Simply log on to our portal with your FREE user account, browse our Course Directory, and register for a course.

Receive Continuing Education Units and ANCC Contact Hours 
Register for a course, review the materials, take the quiz, and complete the course evaluation online. Upon successful completion of the quiz and evaluation, you will be able to print your certificate of completion. We award ANCC Contact Hours and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for successful completion of our online courses.

My CNE 
Your My CNE page lists the mynursingce online courses you have registered for. Use My CNE to navigate to the courses you are currently working on. You can also keep track of continuing education from other sources in the section "Other Continuing Education" on your My CNE page.
