Our Name is Changing!
Continuing Education in Nursing is changing its name to Center for Professional Development and Outreach (PDO).

Welcome to our online continuing education portal at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing! Join the thousands of nurses who have called upon us to meet their continuing education needs. With more than 50 years of service, we take pride in keeping nurses in all practice areas informed, up-to-date, and competitive across the nation.

How to Sign-up for an e-Learning Course
Simply log on to our portal with your FREE user account, browse our Course Directory, and register for a course.

Receive Continuing Education Credit 
To receive continuing education credit, register for a course, review the materials, take the quiz, and complete the course evaluation online. Upon successful completion of the quiz and evaluation, you will be able to print your credit certificate. We award ANCC Contact Hours and UCEA CEUs for successful completion of our online courses.

Using My CNE 
Your My CNE page lists the mynursingce portal courses you have registered for. Use My CNE to navigate to the courses you are currently working on. You can also keep track of continuing education from other sources in the section "Other Continuing Education" on your My CNE page.
